<description>What is being done to protect the elderly against registered sex offenders? There are laws protecting children but what about the elderly? I understand that a registered sex offender is permitted to work in an elder care facility without notifying the family of/or the residents. They should not be permitted to work in a facility at all.
Can you please shed some light on this topic?

Thank you
